Within mechanics learners are able to gain knowledge and experience that is vital in pursuing employment within the motor maintenance industry. Students are able study a variety of units within a fully resourced workshop that allows for opportunities to achieve a NCFE L1 Occupational Studies for the Workplace.<\/p>\n

The NCFE Level 1 Occupational Studies for the Workplace qualifications have been designed for accreditation to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) within Foundation Learning.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The qualifications are intended to be accessible to a wide range of learners of all abilities. Learners can develop a \u2018hands on\u2019 approach to their learning and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area(s). The skills, knowledge and understanding gained may help learners prepare for work through real or simulated work situations and may contribute to preparing them for working life beyond education.<\/p>\n
