Students are able study a variety of units within a fully resourced workshop that allows for opportunities to achieve a NCFE L1 Occupational Studies for the Workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Units include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Identification of basic external and internal car parts.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Motor vehicle workshop tools and equipment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Health and safety practices in vehicle maintenance.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Introduction to vehicle valeting.<\/strong>\n<p>The NCFE Level 1 Occupational Studies for the Workplace qualifications have been designed for accreditation to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) within Foundation Learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The qualifications are intended to be accessible to a wide range of learners of all abilities. Learners can develop a \u2018hands on\u2019 approach to their learning and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area(s).
