life. Our intent within IT is to give students the skills to use technology effectively in order to be computer literate.<\/span> Our curriculum intends to prepare pupils for the demands of the 21st century and the technological world that awaits them in the future. As well as the huge potential of technology, we teach our students to understand the challenges and problems it can create. Students actively engage in a mandatory unit A2 (Personal Progression Plan) which is delivered to support CEIAG and IT6 (Using digital information technologies) where students are able to better understand the effective and safe use of email, internet and social media. Students have access to 2 lessons per week totalling 1 hour and 45 minutes (Y11) or 1 x 60 minute lesson per week (Y10).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>Areas covered within KS4
