Humanities
Humanities provide opportunities for pupils to experience and develop an understanding of events and people of different times and places, the human and physical processes, which shape them and the people who live in them. Skills developed through humanities help pupils to make sense of their surroundings and the wider world and gives opportunities to be actively involved in exploring the world and community around them.
KEY STAGE 3
All on site Key Stage 3 learners have either 1 hour of Geography or History per week delivered by the KS3 teacher. Content areas relate to important gaps in understanding or has links to the local area/community. All content delivered can be found within the KS3 Geography/History national curriculums.
