Curriculum
PSHE
Our PSHE curriculum at Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four is designed to support pupils’ personal development, well-being and preparation for life beyond school. Delivered through dedicated timetabled lessons and themed curriculum days, the programme covers relationships, health and wellbeing, citizenship, and careers education in an age‑appropriate and progressive way. Lessons are interactive and discussion‑based, encouraging students to explore real‑life situations, develop resilience and build positive relationships. The curriculum is carefully sequenced to reflect students’ growing maturity, while remaining flexible so that content can be adapted in response to emerging needs, current issues, or student voice. We personalise learning through targeted support, differentiated activities and additional interventions where required, ensuring all students feel supported, informed and confident to make safe, respectful and responsible choices.
