A message from
The Headteacher
Our school proudly serves and supports the community of Halton. Our children and young people are all individuals with their own unique experiences and outlook on life. We value each of our students and their families equally, and with full respect. We understand that it is our job and responsibility to keep our children safe, to provide them with the guidance, nurture and education to help them feel confident and secure with the challenges that life presents. We will work hard to help you progress with your learning and provide you with a school environment that is peaceful, happy and allows you learn. This is our commitment to you.
You also have commitments if you want to get the best out of your school. Your biggest commitment is exactly the same as ours: To respect the rights of your fellow students, the staff, and the school community. This means doing your part to help us have a safe place to be where we can freely do the learning we need.
Our ethos is simple. Respect everyone equally. Give it and receive it.
Some of you will need the school for a long time, and some for just a short time. Some of you will be getting ready to go on to your next school placement. Some of you will be getting ready to leave school for college, training or work. We will help you be ready and confident for these steps. Our vision for you is that you leave your time with us having learnt the real things you need for your next step in life. That you are more confident, independent and aware of yourself and others than when you first arrived.
Welcome to The Bridge School. Your safe place: your place to learn and grow.
Kind regards, Mr Nigel Hunt
